Will Ferrell rose to fame for his role as a character on 'Saturday Night Live,' before appearing on such major-screen comedy films as 'Elf"Anchorman," "Talladega Nights.' Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began his comedy career as an actor in the Los Angeles-based improv group called the Groundlings. Following his seven years as a Saturday Night Live Cast Member, Ferrell became one of the most well-known comedic actors of the field through off-color hits such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was a co-founder of Funny or Die, a popular video streaming website. He also enjoyed success as an actor voiceover in animated movies such as Megamind (2010).
