Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is an Irish model and actress. She made her debut in the Bond movie, A View to a Kill in the year 1985. She starred in 1989 as an archaeologist with Nazi sympathies Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Siobhan donnevan starred part of A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte was in Taffin (in the year 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was asked by a photographer to model and began to take on the role of model. Doody then began to build her career as a commercial model. Doody strictly avoided the glamour of thongs, nakedness and nudity in her modelling career. Once she caught the attention of the director of casting in a James Bond movie, she was cast of A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex. The first time she played the lead in a 1988 episode of Jim Henson fantasy series The Storyteller as Sapsorrow with John Hurt Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders. She starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) prior to taking possibly her most famous role in her career in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a co-star with Harrison Ford. She played alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 film adaptation for television from King Solomon's Mines and also starred in a short called Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet on the Holocaust and in the British TV program Waking the Dead (in a two-part show called. Doody made an appearance in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. In the following year, she was a guest on RTE's medical thriller The Clinic. She was supposed to be the star of an adaptation in 2011 of the horror movie The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. The year 2011 saw her debut on the first of two seasons in the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. She appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way (2014).
