Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977, is an American actress who is best known for her role in 24 and the voice work that she performed for Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated in the year 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. In her youth she competed as an Irish dancer, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. She holds earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was the role of a guest in Star Trek: Enterprise. Then, Wersching was invited to perform on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC Daytime's soap drama General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Other credits in the theater include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching was also a guest on several roles on television shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she was a regular in the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching was the National League's catcher in 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. The character was teased on Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was shown in the trailer for the story shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would play the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
