Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was born to Janice
(Cooke), an accountant as well as William Kendrick (a teacher). She has an
older brother, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who also has acted. Anna Kendrick is
Scottish, Irish, and English. She received the Drama League Award and Theatre
World Award for her performance. She had the pleasure of working with
choreographer Scott Ellis, choreographer Susan Stroman and many other celebrity
actors at the New York City Opera House. Anna starred in Camp (2003) and was
nominated for the Broadway Tony Award for Best actress (Featured role Musical)
for her role in High Society. She was the second-youngest nominee in Tony
history (after 1991's Tony winner, Daisy Eagan). In Tony history, George
Clooney made fun of her when she worked with Susan Stroman and Scott Ellis at
the New York Opera House. Anna was in the film Camp (2003) and was nominated in
the 1998 Tony Award for the Best Actress (Featured Role - Musical) for the
musical "High Society." She was nominated for an Oscar in 2010
between the second and the third installments in the series.Graduated from
