Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush, an American pop boy group formed in 2009, is a pop group from America. The group is comprised of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow and Logan Henderson. In 2009, they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group starred in the Nickelodeon television show of the identical title, Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th in 2009 until July 25, 2013. The premiere episode introduced the group's very first promotional single, "Big Time Rush". The group recorded three albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011 as well as 24/7 in 2013. The band in 2014 stopped touring for an indefinite period which lasted until 2021. The band resumed live shows in the studio, and then released "Call It Like It's Seeing It". Nickelodeon signed Big Time Rush to an album deal in 2009, along with its tv show, Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon collaborated with Columbia/Epic Label Group for production and original music. Their first single, "Big Time Rush" was featured on the show' November 29th 2009. The song was officially announced on Nickelodeon, it first aired in the U.S. November 2009 and was later broadcast worldwide. The song was played in a preview of the series for one hour , and is the opening song of the show. The promotional singles were also released by the show including "City is Ours" (with Big Time Rush) and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also recorded the Play song "Famous" and was written by him. The song was released on iTunes on June 29 in 2010. After its series premiere, another song, "Halfway There", was made available on iTunes on April 27, 2010. The band quickly made it their first charting track on the Billboard Hot 100. It hit 93 on the list thanks to digital sales. The second single from Big Time Rush, "Till You Forget About You", was released on September 21 the 21st of September, 2010. The song was released to promote their debut album. On October 11, 2010, the album, called BTR released to the general public. The album reached number 3 on the Billboard 200 and sold 67,000 copies within its first seven days.
