Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis (Greek pronunciation 01 October 1969) was a famous American actor, comedian, musician, writer, and comedian. He also appeared on Comedy Central Presents and hosted Late World With Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has appeared in movies like The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010) and The Campaign (2012). He also appeared in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) and Masterminds (2016). Galifianakis voiced characters in animated films like Puss In Boots (2011) and The Lego Batman Movie (2017). He has also voiced Missing Link (2019) and Ron's Gone Wrong (2211). Galifianakis is currently hosting the Funny or Die website talk show Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. Galifianakis was a star on the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis, a North Carolina native, was born on October 1 1969 in Wilkesboro. The actor is the father of Mary Frances (nee Cashion), and Harry Galifianakis, a heating oil seller. His mother is English and Scottish-Irish, whereas his paternal grandparents come from Crete. He was baptized within the father's Greek Orthodox faith. He has Merritt the younger sister of his, as well as Greg who is his older brother. His cousin Nick Galifianakis is a Washington Post cartoonist, and his uncle, Nick Galifianakis is also a politician. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School, and later attended North Carolina State University, where he studied communications. In college, he worked at an access station for the public.
